GETTING THERE
Travel to Italy

The closest airport to the venue is Perugia (50 minutes’ drive) and there are daily flights from London Stansted with Ryanair.

Other airports and approximate driving times to the venue are as follows:

Rome Ciampino (CIA) – 1h50 mins drive

Rome Fiumicino (FCO) – 2 hour drive

Florence (FLR) - 3 hour drive

We recommend using Skyscanner to help you find the cheapest flights based on your journey date, time and location.

Travel from the airport

Car Hire

The venue is located in a remote area so we recommend hiring a car/sharing rides. This will give you more freedom and ensure you get the best out of your stay. Please note that to drive in Italy, you must have held a licence for two years, and you always need to have your driving licence on you. There are car rental companies available at all the airports listed above (Hertz, Avis, Europcar etc) and you can search for quotes using car hire comparison websites like this

Taxi

For those not wishing to drive, taxis are available from outside Perugia airport and will cost approximately 120€ to the venue. Perugia airport website has a list of taxi numbers if you wish to book in advance.

Public Transport

Based on the location of the venue we do not advise travelling by public transport from Perugia as there are no train/bus options. If you wish to travel by train from Rome, you’ll need to take a shuttle bus/train to Roma Termini train station. From Rome, there are a handful of direct trains to Terni which take under 1 hour, and from Terni, you’ll need to get a taxi which takes about 25 minutes to the venue. Trenitalia is the best website to use if you wish to book in advance.
